Manuel Valladares Durán, 
Industrial Civil Engineer and also Electronic Engineer, with Postgraduate Degree in Entrepreneurship Skills of University del Bío Bío, Chile. Manuel is oriented to promote personal entrepreneurship as a style of life, not necessarily economic financial entrepreneurship but as a series of tools and personal methods that allow children, young people and adults to discover their own skills, promoting the potential of each person to obtain a better quality of life and contribute to a society with more opportunities to choose and enjoy a full life in harmony with the community and the environment. Currently his field of professional orientation is Energy Efficiency and self-sustainability, optimizing the energy resource at the industry level and in parallel also leads youth groups promoting energy efficiency in children as a country culture. He served as Head of the Electrical Department for 10 years in a Port in the eighth region of Chile.

What Leben In Bewegung means?

    This phrase is an emblem of my philosophy of life, "Leben In Bewegung" is an expression of German, which translated means life in motion. For me living is different that existing, life always has a heart rate that drives us to a higher purpose beyond just Existing.

     Remembering the ancient Greeks they used two words to define life, the word Bios and the word Zoe.

    In my opinion, just as we nourish our biological life, we must also nourish our Zoe life, serving the least disadvantaged people, helping with joy in the heart, promoting brotherly love with our neighbor, reducing physical, emotional and spiritual poverty in people.

Area of Interest

Manuel's interest is to apply engineering, science and art, promoting personal entrepreneurship as human development, which is understood as a set of characteristics and skills that allows people to "observe their environment and analyze things from a new perspective and based on their prior knowledge to lead innovative changes about themselves and their environment, assume the risk of materializing ideas and persevere to achieve the objectives it has set itself, benefiting not only himself but those around him", as indicated by the psychologist and writer from Concepción, Chile, Estela Drake.

Due to Manuel's scientific training, he currently has a remarkable interest in embarking on the path towards the area of science, art and philosophy, as he maintains that people improve things by developing technology, creativity and reflection, as this improves people's quality of life.

Manuel has a strong interest in overcoming poverty and developing human potential beyond material assistance. Manuel collaborates using all the resources of his engineering training complemented with his philosophical and transcultural training, as useful tools to fulfill a Life Purpose in adults, young people and children.

He holds a mathematical equation that considers that love and knowledge is a fundamental factor that is inversely proportional to the ego. The ego impedes helping others and the ego considers the neighbor as a competition.

• Participation in TOTEM, the Red de Trabajo Juvenil Comuna, promoting Entrepreneurship skills to minimize drug use among young people. (August 2006)


• Founder of the children's organization "Niños con Propósito" whose objective was to foster resilience in the children's community, developing skills of creativity and observation, having as a model his own Life born in the commune of scarce resources. (March 2007)
